ARRATIARRA GAUA beltza
GAUA beltza means black NIGHT in Basque.
This is how the original ARRATIARRA looked like.
ARRATIARRA is the jacket traditionally worn by Basque men from Arratia region in their wedding day during the 19th Century. It was usually tailor made and it was the fanciest jacket they had in their wardrobes, only used in very special occasions. It had disappeared in the beginning of the 20th Century, but we have recovered it for you, so the story doesn't ends here.
As the original one, ours is also made with natural fabric 100% merino wool made in Spain. And as always, our coats are hand crafted by local artisans in the Basque Country.
